The hotel's location is amazing, just a short walk to the beach, and we enjoyed some delicious takeout from Dune Burger nearby.

The staff I met were helpful. The room was newly remodelled and airy, I really enjoyed it, and it had central heating, a laptop-compatible safe and a flat-screen TV. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the pool area was very clean.

That was luxurious and cute hotel set in well kept area, near beach, restaurants, and shopping, Nags Head and several restaurants. The rooms were nicely furnished equipped with lovely decor, the seashore and a queen bed.

I loved that my room was pet-friendly and had super comfy beds. The hotel's location was great, being so close to the beach, The Dunes restaurant, Jockeys Ridge, and the Wright Brothers Memorial. I also enjoyed the convenience of having the Tropical Smoothie Cafe just a 5-minute walk away from the motel.

I recently stayed at the Tar Heel Motel for the seafood festival and had an amazing experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, resolving a small issue with exceptional service. The remodeled rooms were cute and well-designed, and I loved the nostalgic feeling of this place from my childhood. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the public beach access and within a mile of two fishing piers. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. Additionally, there were excellent dining options nearby.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel had an excellent location close to everything. A double room with super comfy beds was ready when we arrived. We truly enjoyed our very good stay there a lot.
